Occasion

Allison Rodger creates made to measure pieces for every occasion including dresses for the season, evening events and Mother of the Bride outfits.  Working closely with individual clients, who commission special occasion pieces, each outfit is expertly crafted by hand from start to finish.

From the initial highly skilled custom fitting, guidance on fabric and finishes selection, stitching by expert seamstresses through to the completion of the commissioned piece, Allison Rodger and her team delight in the collaborative process.

This design process embodies the essence of slow fashion, combining time, patience and craftsmanship to deliver a couture item.  The result is an investment piece, a truly one of a kind item that will never be found in anyone else’s wardrobe.

Tailoring

Allison Rodger has a wealth of expertise tailoring bespoke everyday wear and special event pieces for female executives, dignitaries, ambassadors and celebrities.

New technologies and developments are embraced to bring a contemporary feel but the creative process is firmly rooted in tradition.  Designs start life on a mannequin before transitioning to paper patterns which are then laid onto the chosen fabric.  The fabric is hand cut, stitched and tailored to each individual through a series of fittings.

Allison’s extensive knowledge of fabrics and long held relationships with suppliers means that tweeds, wools and silks are often woven and printed exclusively for her clients.  This adds to the bespoke nature of the final pieces and makes for a truly unique and personalised experience.
